Attention: Parents of Incoming Kindergarteners
If you haven't already completed the online enrollment form, please do so. You can find the link by visiting the KCS Webpage or by clicking here: https://enrollment.kana.k12.wv.us/kindergarten-enrollment/
You have three ways to submit the required documents:
1. Upload them on the enrollment site.
2. Mail them to Edgewood Elementary at 550 Hawks Ridge Charleston, WV 25302.
or
3. Call the school at 304-348-6631, to schedule an appointment to come to the school in person on August 7, 2021 between 9:00 and 1:00. Please remember to wear a mask and properly social distance.
The required documents are: state birth certificate, proof of residency and updated shot records.. We would also like to have your child's current dental exam, current wellness check and any information from your child's doctor about medical concerns (allergies, etc.).
If your child completed preschool at a KCS site, YOU STILL MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE ENROLLMENT FORM; however, your child's birth certificate is already on file. You will only need to send updates of the other documents.
